Simon hails from Cornwall, where he works as a graphic designer / sign writer (in part, for the angling industry).
Simon has fished since the age of 12, taken under the wing by some fantastic anglers in the West Country & started fishing venues such as Whiteacres & Shillamill, when commercial venues were still in their infancy.
Simon started at Club Level "coarse & sea fishing" but soon found his love for match fishing and joined Whiteacres Match Group.
Simon is a great all round angler. His organisational skills, preparation and enthusiasm make him a huge success on the bank.
Natural venues and silver fish are Simon's passion, however he is not adverse to catching big bags of F1's and Carp.
Simon has been the festival / league & match organiser at Tamar Lakes for a number of years, firmly putting the venue on the map.
With numerous match, league & festival wins under his belt he aims to keep improving and to go on to win more with Garbolino.

1) Watch, listen & learn! I try and improve with every match I fish.
2) Have plan "A" but learn how to adapt, places like Tamar change with every match.... it is important to be able to ring the changes.
3) Fish to your strengths, practice your weaknesses.
4) Have fun with your fishing & enjoy what you do.
