Scott in action on the Dreenan Knockout round at Gold Valley

tip of the month.

“"Winter fishing can be all about fish location, take time learn the contours of your peg prior to fishing. You can do this by accuratly plumbing up as far as you pole will reach and beyond this cast a small bomb around you peg and drag it around trying to build a mental picture of the swim and locate any fish holding features." ”

Top Tip:

"If plan A is not working, don't be afraid to change. Don't be too regimented in your fishing, you'll be surprised at how subtle changes in feeding and presentation can transform a seemingly lifeless peg. If you think it might work then try it, otherwise you will never know!"
