Over the last 4 years Garbolino Blackmore Vale have qualified for the Angling Times winter league final 3 times, qualifiying on the Grand Union canal- Milton Keynes, Gold Valley and Willow park and the Kennet and Avon canal at Pewsey.
The team won the Hants Wilts and Dorset winter league for 2007/08 season, with Ben Dukes overall league individual winner.
The team won the teams of 4 championships on the river Huntspill 2007/08 season.
Only the second year of fishing the Drennan south west super league 2008, the team have just qualified for the final in May- (finishing in 2nd place) in the league.

A stunning performance showed the class of the Garbolino Blackmore Vale side as they stormed their way to the prestigious Winter League final on the Nene Embankment.
Led by Jason Mills who won individually on the day with 26-4-0, and a 4th overall from Richard Chave with 15-12-0
