The Garbolino Harrisons Lincs County Match Group is a squad of 21 dedicated anglers who have been drawn from the Lincolnshire area and compete extensively throughout the Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Humberside and Lincolnshire region.
The squad was formed in 1994 and after competing in its first National in 1995, achieved successive promotions. This run included being crowned Division 3 champions in 1997 on the Grand Union Canal with a then record points score.
The squad contains anglers who are skilled and comfortable whether they are fishing a canal, drain, river or commercial venue and notable success has been enjoyed both as a team and as individual anglers when representing the squad on all these types of water.
Achievements:
Pentax Division 1 National runners-up in 2008.
Leicester Sensas Summer League runners-up in 2007.
Winners and twice runners-up in Angling Times Humberside Winter League.
4 appearances in the Angling Times Winter League Semi Final.
8 times winners of Lincolnshire/Foss Dyke Winter League.
Winners and runners-up in Bourne Winter League.
5 appearances in the Embassy Pairs Finals by the squad’s anglers.
