The key to the perfect rod is to provide a lightweight slim blank which is crisp on the strike and cast, yet it still needs to retain enough forgiving action to suit the hooks and line you are using. The Light version is perfect for 'silvers' such as roach and skimmers etc, on lakes or for light river work. The medium action is perfect for most sensible carping with a standard waggler of even a pellet waggler up to 12g, whereas the Power model is geared up for days when you intend to bag on big lumps. Perfectly suited for big carp, barbel or even chub on rivers.
