We at Garbolino are delighted to introduce the latest of our partners Match Fishing Scene - a dedicated Match Fishing website, a perfect fit for Garbolino!
Garbolino have teamed up with MFS to sponsor their popular Champions League competition which runs from 1st December 2010 to 31st August 2011. Colin Ormston otherwise known as 'Billy no Fish' runs the site and is on hand to explain more about the site.
"MFS is a dedicated match fishing website which started out almost 2 years ago as a group of mates who wanted to get together and fish different venues. We now have 2,300 members and have a thriving angling forum enjoyed by all who use it. We run regular Question and Answer sessions with top anglers like Darren in our chat box facility which is our version of instant messaging. The Champions League is our competition whereby members run matches all over the country within set guidelines and section points are awarded. Last year was hotly contested by 200 anglers over 34 matches. Next year we expect that to be 50 plus. In addition to the Champions League we have regular two-day social 'knock-ups' and a couple of festivals. We are unique in that we are a site run by members for members, and I feel because of the friendly nature of the forum and focus on match fishing we are a perfect fit for Garbolino and Darren who has supported us from the early days. Next September the winner of the MFS-Garbolino Champions League will walk away with a new Garbolino pole. It doesn’t get much better than that for enjoying our favourite hobby.”
